The Wild strawberry 'Korona'(s) (Fragaria vesca) produces red, shiny, large berries. They are juicy and sweet in flavour. Well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil and a sunny location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from June. Its white flowers are a beautiful sight. With its runner-forming and creeping growth, Wild strawberry 'Korona'(s) grows to around 20 cm high and 1 m wide, making it ideal for growing in pots on balconies or terraces.

Runner-forming, creeping. Generally grows 30 - 40 cm per year.

Fruit

The red to shiny, large berries have a sweet flavour. The light red flesh of these broad berries is juicy. Ripening time from June.
