The Alpine strawberry 'Alexandria'® (Fragaria vesca) produces red berries. These are sweet in flavour. Well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from May. Its white flowers are a beautiful sight. With its flat growth, Alpine strawberry 'Alexandria'® grows to around 20 cm high and 20 cm wide, making it ideal for growing in pots on balconies or terraces.
