With its dark green leaves, Flowering rush (Butomus umbellatus) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as group planting, pond edges, bee pasture and streams. Pink-coloured flowers appear from June to August. It prefers well-drained soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Flowering rush is well tolerant of frost. The upright plant usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 metres.
