The Box elder 'Variegatum' (Acer negundo) is a loose, multi-stemmed, picturesque large shrub that produces yellowish-white flowers arranged in clusters. They appear from March to April. The Box elder 'Variegatum' also has pinnate, green-white leaves. The pink-coloured shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 7 metres and grows to a width of around 5 metres. The Box elder 'Variegatum' makes no particular demands on the soil.

The deciduous leaves of the Box elder 'Variegatum's are green-white, pinnate, opposite. Pink-coloured shoots.

Flower

The yellowish-white flowers of the Box elder 'Variegatum' appear in racemes from March to April.
