With its medium green leaf colouring, Spiky fescue 'Pic Carlit' (Festuca gautieri) is a decorative design element in the garden which, with its cushion-forming and compact growth, also adorns containers on balconies or terraces. The yellow-green flower plumes adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 15 cm and grows up to 20 cm wide.
