The Leyland Cypress (Cupressocyparis leylandii) is a tree that grows upright and slender and usually reaches a height of around 30 metres and a width of around 7 metres. Its scale-like leaves are dark green in colour. This tree is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich, loamy soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
