The Shantung maple 'Pacific Sunset'® (Acer truncatum) is a roundish small tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in umbels. They appear in May. The Shantung maple 'Pacific Sunset'® also has shiny, heart-shaped, light green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 8 metres and grows to a width of approx. 5 metres.

The green-yellow flowers of Shantung maple 'Pacific Sunset'® appear in corymbs in May.
