Norway maple 'Meyering' is a dense and roundish growing large tree. It usually reaches a height of 8 - 10 m and is approx. 5 - 7 m wide. Rapidly growing. As a rule, it grows 40 - 60 cm per year.

The deciduous leaves of the Norway maple 'Meyering's are bronze, opposite, toothed, lobed. They are about 15 - 20 cm tall. Purple-red shoots.

Longitudinally furrowed bark.

Acer platanoides 'Meyering' is a heartroot and, depending on the soil, forms finely branched roots.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

The Norway maple 'Meyering' has good frost hardiness.

No special requirements.

Solitary

The plant has a medium water requirement.

Cut and saw wounds as well as broken branches should be treated with a wound dressing as soon as possible to prevent pathogens from entering the plant.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).
