Norway maple 'Autumn Blaze' is a dense and roundish growing large tree. It usually reaches a height of 15 - 20 m and is approx. 15 - 22 m wide. Rapidly growing. As a rule, it grows 40 - 60 cm per year.

The deciduous leaves of the Norway maple 'Autumn Blaze's are greenish-yellow, opposite, toothed and lobed. They are about 15 - 20 cm tall. Norway maple 'Autumn Blaze' turns bright yellow-orange in autumn.

Longitudinally furrowed bark.

Acer platanoides 'Autumn Blaze' is a heartroot and, depending on the soil, forms finely branched roots.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

The Norway maple 'Autumn Blaze' has good frost hardiness.

No special requirements.

The plant has a medium water requirement.

Cut and saw wounds as well as broken branches should be treated with a wound dressing as soon as possible to prevent pathogens from entering the plant.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).
