Acer platanoides 'Allershausen'(s)

Dense, roundish, upright.

The shoots of Acer platanoides 'Allershausen'(s) are light brown in colour.

The deciduous leaves of the Norway maple 'Allershausen'(s)s are medium green, dark green, opposite, toothed, lobed. They are about 15 - 20 cm tall. Norway maple 'Allershausen'(s) is bright golden yellow to yellow in autumn.

Dark grey, longitudinally furrowed bark makes this plant an eye-catcher in any garden.

The greenish-yellow flowers of Norway maple 'Allershausen'(s) appear in corymbs in April.

Acer platanoides 'Allershausen'(s) is a heartroot and, depending on the soil, forms finely branched roots.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

The Norway maple 'Allershausen'(s) has good frost hardiness.

No special requirements.

Solitary, green border

The plant has a medium water requirement.

Cut and saw wounds as well as broken branches should be treated with a wound dressing as soon as possible to prevent pathogens from entering the plant.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).
