The Fountain grass 'Cassian' (Pennisetum alopecuroides) is a decorative design element in the garden which, with its bushy growth, also adorns containers on balconies or terraces. The brown panicles of flowers adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows up to 1 m wide.
