The White cedar 'Golden Globe' (Thuja occidentalis) is a small shrub that grows in a conical, spherical shape and usually reaches a height of around 1.5 metres and a width of around 1.5 metres. Its scale-like, glossy leaves are greenish-yellow in colour. Decorative brown cones adorn Thuja occidentalis 'Golden Globe' from October. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers calcareous, nutrient-rich, sandy, loamy soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
