With its blue-green leaf colouring, the Pendulous sedge (Carex pendula) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also adorns containers on balconies or terraces with its overhanging growth. The green flower spikes adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a semi-shady to shady location with the loosest, most nutrient-rich soil possible. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows up to 80 cm wide.
