The Golden oats (Stipa gigantea) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its upright and clump-forming growth. The golden-yellow flower panicles adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny location with the most well-drained, loose soil possible. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 1.8 m and grows up to 1 m wide.
