With its medium green leaves, the Tufted loosestrife (Lysimachia thyrsiflora) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as pond edges, streams, ground cover, perennial beds, bee pasture, ponds and woodland edges. Yellow flowers appear from May to July. It prefers humus-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Tufted loosestrife is well tolerant of frost. The upright, runner-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm.
