With its medium green, toothed leaves, Watermint (Mentha aquatica) is a highly decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for use in areas such as medicine, cottage gardens, bee pasture, pond edges, streams, vegetable gardens, food and tea. Purple-coloured flowers appear from July to October. It prefers humus-rich, moist to wet soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Watermint is well tolerant of frost. The upright, runner-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm.
