With its dark green leaf colouring, Fountain grass 'Hameln' (Pennisetum alopecuroides) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also adorns containers on balconies or terraces with its bushy, upright and clump-forming growth. The golden-yellow flower panicles adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny spot with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and grows up to 50 cm wide.
