The Dwarf purple rhododendron 'Blue Tit' (Rhododendron impeditum) produces a veritable sea of light blue flowers from the beginning of May to the end of May. Its evergreen foliage is dark green. This bushy, broad, dense-growing shrub usually reaches a height of 0.5 - 1 m and a width of 0.6 to 1.2 m. A semi-shady (to shady) location and humus-rich, lime-free soil create optimum conditions for healthy growth. The Dwarf purple rhododendron 'Blue Tit' is well tolerant of frost.

- Cut back frozen shoots to the healthy wood as soon as there is no longer any danger of frost.
