The Dwarf purple rhododendron 'Moerheim' (Rhododendron impeditum) produces a veritable sea of purple-coloured flowers in May. Its evergreen foliage is dark green. This dense, flat, compact growing shrub usually reaches a height of 30 - 40 cm and a width of 60 to 80 cm. A semi-shady (to shady) location and a humus-rich, lime-free soil create ideal conditions for healthy growth. The Dwarf purple rhododendron 'Moerheim' is well tolerant of frost.

Dwarf purple rhododendron 'Moerheim' is a dense, flat and compact dwarf shrub. It usually reaches a height of 30 - 40 cm and is approx. 60 - 80 cm wide. Slow growing. Usually grows 5 - 10 cm per year.

- This plant should only be watered with lime-free water. Rainwater is particularly suitable for this purpose.
- Cut back frozen shoots to the healthy wood as soon as there is no longer any danger of frost.
