The Sea buckthorn 'Pollmix' (Hippophae rhamnoides) is a sprawling, loose, large shrub that produces inconspicuous flowers. They appear from March to April. The Sea buckthorn 'Pollmix' also has lanceolate, silvery leaves. In a sunny location with well-drained, calcareous, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 5.5 metres and grows to around 3 metres wide.

Growth

Sea buckthorn 'Pollmix' is a sprawling and loosely growing large shrub. It usually reaches a height of 3 - 5.5 m and is approx. 2 - 3 m wide. It usually grows 20 - 30 cm per year.

The shoots of Hippophae rhamnoides 'Pollmix' are spiny.
