The Turk's cap lily (Lilium martagon) produces attractive, dark red, pleasantly fragrant flowers from June to July. It prefers a well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The upright plant usually reaches a height of 60 - 80 cm and grows up to 30 cm wide.

The dark red, funnel-shaped flowers appear from June to July. They are pleasantly fragrant.
