With its blue-green leaves, Marsh spurge (Euphorbia palustris) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as pond edges and streams. Yellow, slightly fragrant flowers appear from May to June. It prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Marsh spurge is well tolerant of frost. The upright, clump-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 metres.
