The Rusty foxglove (Digitalis ferruginea) is an upright, rosette-like, winter-green perennial that forms yellow-red, rake-shaped flowers. Its lanceolate leaves are dark green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.8 m and grows to a width of approx. 50 cm. The Rusty foxglove is well tolerant of frost.
