Elaeagnus angustifolia Schirm (1).JPG

Narrow-leaved oleaster – a silvery-shining all-rounder with a fragrant scent

The narrow-leaved oleaster (Elaeagnus angustifolia) is a small tree that stands out from the crowd. Its delicate silvery sheen, the pleasant fragrance of its flowers and its robust characteristics make it a real insider tip for natural, dry or Mediterranean gardens.

Picturesque growth with Mediterranean flair

Elaeagnus angustifolia grows up to 7 metres high and just as wide. Its growth is irregular, almost wildly romantic – perfect for structuring natural-looking garden areas or as a solitary tree in the centre of attention. Its lanceolate, silvery-shimmering leaves are particularly striking and can be seen from afar. The white shoots in spring further enhance this effect.
