The Nature Garden - A Balance to the Workday

Daily life can often be stressful. That's why we long for a place to retreat, put our feet up, and simply relax. And where better to do that than in nature? And you can easily bring nature into your own garden!

It doesn’t always have to be a perfect lawn or a neatly shaped hedge. After all, you only truly feel comfortable when the garden is designed the way you want it. Often, plants that seem randomly arranged bring about a sense of calm that only a walk through nature can achieve. A nature garden combines relaxation and a habitat for both people and animals.

A nature garden is a matter of the heart.

The beautiful thing about having your own garden is that you can design it exactly according to your wishes and ideas. A nature garden offers the opportunity to be exactly who you are and to feel the way you want to feel. In a nature garden, all the possibilities of nature can be combined. It starts with a wildflower meadow and ends with a natural garden pond. There are no limits to creativity, and the more natural the garden is, the more comfortable both people and animals will feel. Play areas for children, space for pets or livestock, tasty treats, and cozy seating areas – all of this is possible in a nature garden. Here, dreams come true.

Naturally protected in your own garden

As a retreat, a nature garden should definitely be one thing: protected. If you want to shield yourself from curious glances in your own garden, you can create a natural hedge. This can be done with blooming shrubs such as viburnum, forsythia, summer lilac, or various types of roses. But tasty berries can also be planted as a privacy screen. Blackberries, raspberries, and currants not only provide a decorative barrier but also invite snacking and enjoyment. If you want a pretty privacy screen even in winter, a hedge made of dogwood and privet is a safe choice. Plants and animals should also find protection in the nature garden. Shade-loving plants thrive under trees, and ground cover provides protection from predators.

Doing good for nature

A nature garden not only looks beautiful and invites relaxation, but it also benefits the environment. A wildflower meadow provides a wonderful view and, most importantly, serves as a crucial food source for insects and birds. Butterflies and bees are attracted to nectar-rich flowers, and moist, shady spots can be planted with ferns, bear's breeches, and nettle species. This brings color even to the darkest corners. In general, the more native and diverse the plant selection, the more comfortable local wildlife will feel. And what could be more beautiful than being awakened and entertained by birdsong?
