The Lesser Mount Olympus St John's wort (Hypericum polyphyllum) is a cushion-forming perennial that produces golden yellow, cup-shaped flowers from June to July. Its egg-shaped leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, calcareous, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Lesser Mount Olympus St John's wort is well tolerant of frost.
