The St Bernard's lily (Anthericum liliago) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces white, funnel-shaped, clustered flowers with a pleasant fragrance from May to June. Its linear leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, lime-free, loose, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and grows to a width of approx. 40 cm. The St Bernard's lily is well tolerant of frost.
