The Taurus Cerastium (Cerastium tomentosum) is a creeping, carpet-like, evergreen perennial with decorative, linear, lanceolate, silver-grey leaves. From May to June it bears white, star-shaped, cupped flowers arranged in umbels. In a sunny location with well-drained, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 15 cm and is approx. 15 cm wide. The Taurus Cerastium is well tolerant of frost.

Care

- If the plant is divided every 2-3 years and weak roots and shoots are removed, the reward is better growth and flowering vigour!
- If the plant is watered less frequently but thoroughly and penetratingly, the roots are encouraged to penetrate deeper into the soil. This helps the plant to survive periods of drought.
