The Meadowsweet 'Plena' (Filipendula ulmaria) is a creeping perennial that produces white flowers arranged in panicles with a pleasant fragrance from June to August. Its pinnate leaves are medium green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose, moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 m and grows to a width of approx. 50 cm. The Meadowsweet 'Plena' is well tolerant of frost.
