Care

- A slow-release fertiliser can be used in spring. This releases the nutrients slowly and continuously so that the plant is evenly supplied over a longer period of time.
- This plant should not be cut back in autumn, as it looks pretty in winter or the dead plant parts serve as winter protection. Only prune in spring before new shoots appear.

Planting partner

The Chinese astilbe sets beautiful accents together with:
Garden silverbell 'Plum Pudding'®, mountain sedge.

Planting time

Planting: Autumn, depending on variety also in spring.
