The Blackberry 'Loch Ness'(s) (Rubus fruticosus) produces large, black berries. These are firm and sweet and sour in flavour. Well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from mid-July. Its white flowers are a beautiful sight.

The deciduous leaves of Blackberry 'Loch Ness'(s) are dark green, pinnate, alternate. Blackberry 'Loch Ness'(s) turns bright red-brown in autumn. Long lasting.

Flower

The white, cupped flowers of Blackberry 'Loch Ness'(s) appear in corymbs from June to July.

Fruit

The black, large berries have a sweet and sour flavour. The flesh of these elongated, oval berries is firm. Ripening time from mid-July.

Care
