The Golden rod 'Golden Fleece' (Solidago sphacelata) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces golden yellow, basket-shaped flowers arranged in spikes from August to September. Its egg-shaped leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Golden rod 'Golden Fleece' makes no particular demands on the soil. The Golden rod 'Golden Fleece' is well tolerant of frost.
