The Sanguisorba officinalis 'White Tanna' (Sanguisorba officinalis) is an upright perennial that forms white flowers arranged in spikes from July to August. Its matt, pinnate, serrated leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 m and grows to a width of approx. 50 cm. The Sanguisorba officinalis 'White Tanna' is well tolerant of frost.
