The Balkan clary 'Sensation Deep Blue'® (Salvia nemorosa) is a bushy, upright perennial that produces blue, lip-shaped flowers arranged in panicles with a pleasant fragrance from June to July. Repeated flowering occurs in September with the right care. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and grows to a width of approx. 40 cm. The Balkan clary 'Sensation Deep Blue'® is well tolerant of frost.

Bushy, upright.

Flower

Salvia nemorosa 'Sensation Deep Blue'® forms lip-shaped, blue flowers arranged in panicles from June. These exude a pleasant fragrance. With the right care, re-flowering in September.

Location

Preferred location in a sunny position.

Frost hardiness

The Balkan clary 'Sensation Deep Blue'® has good frost hardiness.

Use

Tubs, rock garden, bee pasture, perennial bed, small/front garden, scented garden, rose garden

Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.

If the plants are cut back after flowering, they will sprout and flower again.
