The Brown-eyed susan (Rudbeckia triloba) is a bushy, clump-forming perennial that produces golden yellow, basket-shaped flowers from August to October. Its lanceolate leaves are green. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.3 m and grows to a width of approx. 50 cm. The Brown-eyed susan is well tolerant of frost.
