The Pasque flower 'Rubra' (Pulsatilla vulgaris) is an upright perennial that forms velvety red, bell-shaped flowers from March to April. Decorative fruits develop from the flowers. Its deeply slit leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Pasque flower 'Rubra' is well tolerant of frost.
