The Big blue lilyturf 'Big Blue' (Liriope muscari) is an upright, clump-forming, winter-green perennial that forms blue, bell-shaped flowers arranged in panicles from August to October. The flowers develop into decorative, dark blue fruits in November. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, lime-free, loose soil, it usually grows to a height of approx. 50 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Big blue lilyturf 'Big Blue' is well tolerant of frost.

Liriope muscari 'Big Blue' forms bell-shaped, blue flowers arranged in panicles from August.

Fruit

The dark blue berries of Liriope muscari 'Big Blue' are particularly decorative. These appear from November.
