The Wood cranesbill (Geranium sylvaticum) is a broad perennial that produces purple, cupped flowers from June to August. Its palmate, toothed leaves are medium green in colour. In a semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Wood cranesbill is well tolerant of frost.
