The Anise hyssop (Agastache foeniculum) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces purple flowers arranged in panicles with a pleasant fragrance from June to September. Its egg-shaped, serrated leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 m and grows to a width of approx. 50 cm. The Anise hyssop is well tolerant of frost in sheltered locations.

Suitable for consumption. The deciduous leaves of Anise hyssop are medium green, ovate, serrated.

Suitable for consumption. Agastache foeniculum forms purple flowers arranged in panicles from June. These exude a pleasant fragrance.
