The Fern-leaf yarrow 'Parker' (Achillea filipendulina) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces yellow flowers arranged in umbels with a pleasant fragrance from June to July. Repeated flowering occurs in September with the right care. Its pinnate leaves are grey-green. In a sunny location with well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.1 m and grows to a width of approx. 50 cm. The Fern-leaf yarrow 'Parker' is well tolerant of frost.

The deciduous leaves of the Fern-leaf yarrow 'Parker' are grey-green, pinnate.

Flower

Achillea filipendulina 'Parker' forms yellow flowers arranged in umbels from June. These exude a pleasant fragrance. With the right care, re-flowering in September.

Care

- If the plant is divided every 2-3 years and weak roots and shoots are removed, the reward is better growth and flowering vigour!
- Rock garden plants love loose, well-drained soil. However, as this substrate stores little water, the plants must be watered regularly for several weeks after planting, especially in dry conditions, until they are sufficiently rooted.
