Stoloniferous.

The wintergreen leaves of the Cotulas are olive green, pinnate.

Cotula potentillina forms ball-shaped, yellow flowers from June. These exude a pleasant fragrance.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

The Cotula has good frost hardiness.

Normal soil.

Rock garden, cottage garden, border, grave, ground cover, scented garden

Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.

- If the plant is divided every 2-3 years and weak roots and shoots are removed, the reward is better growth and flowering vigour!
- If the plant is watered less frequently but thoroughly and penetratingly, the plant roots are encouraged to penetrate into deeper soil layers. This enables the plant to survive dry periods better.
