The Plantain lily 'Blue Mouse Ears' (Hosta) is a clump-forming, upright, compact perennial with decorative, rounded, whole-edged, blue-green leaves. From June to August, it bears lilac-coloured, bell-shaped flowers arranged in panicles. In a semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 30 cm and grows to a width of approx. 30 cm. The Plantain lily 'Blue Mouse Ears' is well tolerant of frost.

High leaf ornamental value. The deciduous leaves of Plantain lily 'Blue Mouse Ears' are blue-green, rounded, basal, with entire margins.

Hosta 'Blue Mouse Ears' forms bell-shaped, lilac-coloured flowers arranged in panicles from June.
