The Yarrow 'Moonshine' (Achillea clypeolata) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces lemon-yellow flowers arranged in umbels from June to July. Repeated flowering occurs in September if cared for correctly. Its lanceolate leaves are grey-green. In a sunny location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Yarrow 'Moonshine' is well tolerant of frost.

Water

Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.

Care

- If the plant is divided every 2-3 years and weak roots and shoots are removed, the reward is better growth and flowering vigour!
- Rock garden plants love loose, well-drained soil. However, as this substrate stores little water, the plants must be watered regularly for several weeks after planting, especially in dry conditions, until they are sufficiently rooted.
