The Common european globeflower (Trollius europaeus) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces yellow, cupped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from May to June. Its rounded, lobed leaves are medium green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, lime-free, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 70 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Common european globeflower is well tolerant of frost.
