The Knotweed 'Superbum' (Persicaria bistorta) is a creeping, carpet-like, winter-green perennial with decorative, lanceolate, dark green leaves. From July to September it bears pink-coloured flowers arranged in spikes. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 25 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Knotweed 'Superbum' is well tolerated by frost in sheltered locations.
