The Blue cowslip 'Azurea' (Pulmonaria angustifolia) is an upright, runner-forming perennial that forms blue, funnel-shaped flowers from March to May. Its lanceolate leaves are dark green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 25 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Blue cowslip 'Azurea' is well tolerant of frost.
