The Oxlip (Primula elatior) is an upright perennial that forms pale yellow flowers arranged in umbels from March to April. Its egg-shaped leaves are dark green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humus-rich, loose, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and is approx. 20 cm wide. The Oxlip is well tolerant of frost.
