The Japanese iris 'Rose Queen' (Iris laevigata) is an upright, rhizome-forming perennial that produces pink-coloured flowers from July to August. Its linear leaves are grey-green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humus-rich, lime-free, nutrient-rich, moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Japanese iris 'Rose Queen' is well tolerant of frost.
