The Heath pearlwort (Sagina subulata) is a mat-forming, evergreen perennial that forms white, star-shaped flowers from June to July. Its needle-shaped leaves are dark green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 8 cm and is approx. 20 cm wide. The Heath pearlwort is well tolerant of frost.
