The Himalayan cinquefoil 'Gibson´s Scarlet' (Potentilla atrosanguinea) is an upright, clump-forming, winter-green perennial that produces scarlet-red, cup-shaped flowers from June to July. Its cut, notched leaves are light green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Himalayan cinquefoil 'Gibson´s Scarlet' is well tolerant of frost.

Upright, clump-forming. Generally grows 20 - 30 cm per year.
